Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover, Part-time, 64 hours per fortnight (.8 FTE)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a 0.8 FTE, fixed-term maternity leave contract on A2 General Medical & Renal. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled RN to contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary team in a high-performing environment. Join our collaborative team on A2, where the focus is on delivering outstanding patient-centered care. Our department provides general medical and renal services, with a commitment to excellence in clinical practice.

About you:
To excel in this role, you will be an enthusiastic and energetic Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment. Key skills and experience include:
  • Registered Nurse with experience in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
  • Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles, Mātauranga Māori, and Kaupapa Māori approaches in healthcare settings .
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
