Support Renal Replacement Therapy (Dialysis) from Waitaki to the Bluff and Central Otago. Acute and Home Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis.
Mō te tūranga - About the role
In this position you will be joining the DUNEDIN BASED Dialysis Unit team. Our unit's focus is to provide home haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis training, home, and clinic-based support, throughout the Southern region in peritoneal and haemodialysis.
We aim to provide the following:
  • Best possible care for all our patients requiring renal replacement therapy
  • Consistent care in line with our vision and values
  • Promoting wellbeing, independence, and an optimal quality of life
  • Total commitment towards Home Dialysis treatment for all chronic dialysis patients with on-going support for patients /family/whanau

  • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between the Step 2 ($81,683 p.a) and Step 7 ($106,739 p.a) prorata of the Registered Nurse scale.
