Showroom Manager / Sales & Design Consultant

We are looking for a motivated and experienced showroom retail manager to join our dynamic team and help us continue to grow and excel in the industry. The manager will manage and oversee the daily activities of our retail business.
We deliver high-quality natural stone, tile, and timber flooring solutions to our clients. Our showroom showcases the finest selection of materials, and we pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service, expert advice, and personalised design assistance.
Key Responsibilities:

Showroom Management: Oversee daily operations, this includes maintaining service standards and ensure a well-presented and organised showroom; coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability, maintaining records of stock levels; maintain the visual merchandising of the showroom to enhance customer experience.

Sales Strategy & Targets: Work with the team to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve showroom targets, implement purchasing and marketing policies; analyse sales data and customer feedback; identify opportunities to improve advertisement and promotion of goods; participate in regular sales meetings, contribute to developing marketing activities, and formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies.

Sales & Customer Service: Provide expert product knowledge, including the benefits and features of various materials; prepare and present quotes, process orders, and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction; build strong relationships with clients, designers, architects, and builders; organising various events with catering, such as orchestra nights and master classes; handle customer inquiries and professionally resolve issues or complaints to maintain service standards.

Team Collaboration: Train, mentor and supervise junior staff; foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication; ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Qualification Requirements:

At least three years of proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the flooring, natural stone, or building materials industry.

Strong understanding of natural stone, tile, and timber flooring products and their applications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients.

Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and results-driven approach.

Experience in showroom management or leadership is an advantage.

Experience in hospitality and event management is an advantage.

Experience with European natural stone and porcelain suppliers is an advantage.

Base salary ranges from $63,000 - $68,000 (depending on skills and experience), with bonus opportunities.

Yearly performance reviews with opportunity for salary increases according to sales targets.

This is a full-time position, with a guaranteed 40 hours of work every week, including weekend hours.
