Showroom Manager / Sales & Design Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
- Showroom Management: Oversee daily operations, this includes maintaining service standards and ensure a well-presented and organised showroom; coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability, maintaining records of stock levels; maintain the visual merchandising of the showroom to enhance customer experience.
- Sales Strategy & Targets: Work with the team to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve showroom targets, implement purchasing and marketing policies; analyse sales data and customer feedback; identify opportunities to improve advertisement and promotion of goods; participate in regular sales meetings, contribute to developing marketing activities, and formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies.
- Team Collaboration: Train, mentor and supervise junior staff; foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication; ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- At least three years of proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the flooring, natural stone, or building materials industry.
- Strong understanding of natural stone, tile, and timber flooring products and their applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Experience in showroom management or leadership is an advantage.
- Experience in hospitality and event management is an advantage.
- Experience with European natural stone and porcelain suppliers is an advantage.
- Base salary ranges from $63,000 - $68,000 (depending on skills and experience), with bonus opportunities.
- Yearly performance reviews with opportunity for salary increases according to sales targets.
- This is a full-time position, with a guaranteed 40 hours of work every week, including weekend hours.
