The Role

The Role
We are looking for a Site Manager with experience in commercial construction and team leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to our high standards.
Our long-standing high-profile client has multiple commercial projects on the go, and we need a motivated and committed team member to lead these projects.
As a Site Manager you will be responsible for organising all day-to-day activities on site ensuring our projects are built safely on time, within budget and to our high standards. The ideal candidate will enjoy job variation, leading others, reporting and come with strong commercial experience. Depending on project location, travel to regions will be required.
Responsibilities are:
- Read and interpret plans and specification
- Oversee foremen, carpenters and apprentices as well other sub-contractors
- Deliver toolbox talks and H&S inductions
- Identify and manage site risks as well as monitor QA & QC
- Manage client expectations and work collaboratively with all site staff
- Trade carpentry qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in a hands-on carpentry position and site management
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- Ability to work with a diverse team
- Familiar with MS Office, Procore, MS Project
- People management and leadership
- Strong commitment to best practices in Health & Safety, Sustainability, and Environmental standards.
