We have an opportunity for a dedicated Foodie to join our amazing Delicatessen team Part-time!
Supermarket Assistant - Delicatessen Department
Role:
- Provide an excellent level of customer service, ensuring a great customer experience
- Prepare, produce and serve deli offerings
- Ensure high presentation standards for the delicatessen & store
- Assistant product refinement and deli range expansion
- Provide full range whilst maintaining quality
- Build relationships within the department, wider team and leadership to get the very best results
- Follow H&S, Food Safety and store procedures
- Cleaning and preparing the department for the next day
- Permanent roster
- Evening shifts till close - Tuesday, Friday, Saturday - approximately 17 hours per week

- Development through on the job training and online through Foodies learning
- You’ll be working with the latest technology, equipment and processes
- Be part of a 100% locally owned and operated store
- Supermarket / retail experience advantageous but not essential - all training provided
- Food experience or a love of food and cooking an advantage
- Strong work ethic, reliable, honest and be a good team player
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confidence & maturity to work unassisted at times
- Must be able to work a weekend shift each week
