- Assist telecommunication technicians to install and maintain telecommunication systems.
- Document, track and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Properly use, store and maintain all test equipment used in system.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew.
- Lift, carry, push and pull heavy equipment.
- Basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Perform repair and maintenance on multiple services.
- Coordinate with on-site technicians who perform all hands-on work.
- Read signal levels through use of field strength meter. adds and subtracts levels in installation problems. install connectors on different type of drop cable. maintain proper clearances. install tap-off devices.
- The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.
- At least three years relevant experience, OR,
- A relevant qualification to the job offered.
- A can-do attitude, with the ability to learn on the job.
