About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi

The Software Engineering team is looking for an Tools and Automation Lead to join on an initial 12 month contract.

As a Tools and Automation Lead you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient software delivery by managing enterprise-wide tools, technology, and automation for the Co-op’s IT functions. Reporting directly to the Practice Lead, this role serves as the product owner for various tools supporting the Software Engineering Chapter.

You will collaborate with a diverse stakeholder group to prioritise automation initiatives and select the right tools for squads and projects. This leadership will embed a culture of forward-thinking processes, practices, and tools to propel Fonterra to the forefront of modern technology delivery.

About you | Ko wai koe

With a solid foundation in software engineering, you have an excellent understanding of a wide range of tools and practices. You leverage agile frameworks and lean six sigma methodologies to maximise process efficiency.

With leadership is at the core of this role, you bring the ability to influence and provide clear direction in an ambiguous environment, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement and advancement.
