As our Transport Coordinator/Storeperson, you will take on an exciting new challenge and manage the daily requirements of our freight in Napier.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading inward and outward goods which includes operating the forklift.
• Responding promptly to requests for equipment from our internal customers and processing issues and loans.
• Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining an accurate inventory of all stock.
• Providing accurate documentation and records.

This role is based in Napier and due to the nature of this role, there is no option to work remotely.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in a job well done and works hard to make it happen. You will have previous experience in warehousing/stores and supply environment.

Other requirements also include:

• Forklift experience loading/unloading goods.
• Effective communication and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated and highly organised.
• Experience working with the MS Office Suite and SAP Inventory management.
• A full class 1 NZ driver license.
• Current forklift Endorsement and Dangerous goods handling experience would be welcomed.
• Be a team player.

This role requires occasional domestic travel as you will be supporting the transportation of goods to nearby camps and bases.

Low Level Security Clearance

• You must be a New Zealand citizen or you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa.
• At minimum, you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence or have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa, and you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last five (5) years.
• You must have a five (5) year background history that can be verified and assessed appropriately by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to determine if you are suitable for a security clearance at this level.
