This is a full time and permanent position, immediate start if you are successfully offered the job. You will work at least 30 hours per week, with hourly rate $28.20 - $30.00, depends on your skills and experience, responsible for serving food and beverages in our restaurant.
Key Duties include:
- Setting and arranging tables
- Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
- Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen staff
- Serving food and beverages
- Opening bottles and pouring beverages
- Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen
- Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
- Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sale machines and cash registers
- May recommend wines to complement food
We expect the candidates to have:
- Flexibility to work on weeks, nights (up to 10pm) and public holidays when required
- Drug free with a clean police record
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa with unlimited work right.
