About the role

We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team!

Hydraulink is not your average company…..and this is not your routine warehouse job! You will get the opportunity to learn all about our business and get a great grounding in hydraulics. Progression is encouraged!

You also get the chance to start a learning pathway that can provide you with great training and lots of opportunities to progress your career - think Mobile Service Technician, Customer Service Officer or Area Sales Manager. Don't limit your career options - because we don't!

Your job will be to help the team ensure the best possible flow of product from Inwards Goods to Dispatch. Our goal is to make sure the right product is in the right place at the right time, every time.

You will get to:

• Pick and dispatch hydraulic fittings orders
• Cut and dispatch hydraulic and industrial hose
• Operate the forklift
• Complete stock replenishment of pick shelves
• Restock the Bulk Stock
• Create and dispatch stock orders for customers
• Putting away the inwards stock
• Stock taking and cycle counting

About the person

Previous warehouse or inwards goods experience would be very useful but more important is to be enthusiastic, fit and a great team player. If you have a great attitude and a desire to learn then we can train you!

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:

• MUST HAVE Residency or Citizenship for New Zealand
• Be a reliable and punctual person
• Excellent physical stamina
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and quickly
• Be able to work well under pressure and deadlines
• Basic computer skills would be helpful
• Forklift license (highly regarded) but not necessary
