We are currently seeking for a part time Warehouse Supervisor for our warehouse in Onehunga. Hours will generally be at least 30 hours or more per week. Work will mainly be Monday-Friday but additional weekend hours may be available to support Auckland events from time to time. Starts from September 2023.
** If you do not have any warehousing experience, this role is not suitable for you**
Duties will include:
- picking and packing products
- receiving and shelving inwards goods
- deliveries to customers
- organizing stocktakes
- team roster
- assistance with event set up/tear down may be included at times
The ideal applicant will be/ must have:
- Warehousing experiences
- Physically fit, as some light lifting is required for this role
- A high level of honesty and trustworthiness
- Meticulous, accurate and organized, with good time management skills
- Reliable and a self-starter, able to work to deadlines
- Speak fluent English
- Clean driver license and Police record (must be willing to submit to a police check)
- Drug testing is mandatory and ongoing
- Forklift experience (and license) would be an advantage
This role would suit a person with prior warehouse and dispatch experience.
This position will require a flexible, adaptable person, as no two days will be the same. You will have to be motivated, capable of self-managing and able to work from check-lists and manuals.
You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to be eligible for this position.
