Welder/Fabricator Tradesman

- Excellent welding skills, including an understanding of different welding processes and equipment
- Experience in using machines to cut and shape precision parts and equipment. Create, install, maintain and repair metal products
- The ability to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- The ability to work unsupervised, both on and off-site
- Have the ability to solve problems as they arise
- The ability to work to deadlines
To be considered for this role you also must have:
- Certificate in Engineering (Level 4) or equivalent accumulated industry experience
- Ability to pass 2980 weld test in all positions - MMAW, FCAW
- Full and clean class 1 drivers license is an advantage

Established in 2005 and locally owned. We are situated in Waihi, doorstep to the Coromandel and all that it has to offer in the way of hunting, diving, fishing, tramping and the outdoors in general. Only a 50 minute drive to Tauranga and an hour to Hamilton or the Bombays. Waihi is a lifestyle in a great community with plenty of schooling opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
