Job Summary:

Job Summary:
Simba Group is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering with a post-graduation in marketing, or experience in consumer durables sales. This role offers the opportunity to engage in both market-facing and strategic office-based responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis: Dedicate 50% of your time to gathering market insights on customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Product Development Support: Collaborate with teams across engineering, design, and sales to support product development that meets market demands.
- Marketing Strategy: Assist in developing marketing strategies that align with business objectives, leveraging an understanding of consumer durables markets.
- Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches, ensuring coordination across functions for a smooth product introduction.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance and customer feedback to recommend improvements.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide product-related support.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Should Have: Postgraduate degree in Marketing (preferred), or a technical background with marketing/consumer durables focus.
- We prioritize candidates with a technical foundation and post-graduate marketing training, particularly those who have experience in Consumer Durables (e.g., Samsung, LG, TCL).
- Experience:
- Fresh graduates in Marketing are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in corporate or channel sales within Consumer Durables is preferred; retail sales or merchandising experience is not suitable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Willingness to spend 50% of the time in the market, with a strong interest in fieldwork and market engagement.
- Self-motivated, with a desire to learn and grow.
- Flexible and open to travel as needed.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and working under pressure.
