Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and post journal entries as required.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoicing, payments, and vendor communications.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and collections.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial practices.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain organized financial documents, ensuring all records are accessible and comply with retention policies.
- Work closely with the management team to identify areas for process improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 0-1year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proven experience with accounting software (Quick Books, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦120,000.00 per month
Experience:
- BOOK KEEPING/ ACCOUNTING: 1 year (Preferred)
