Job Title: Category Manager
Department: Commercial Operations/ Konga Online
Reports to: Head of Commercial Planning
Job Purpose:
We're seeking a Category Manager to lead product category management, optimize product assortment, and grow our customer and merchant network. The role involves developing and implementing business development and sales strategies to drive category performance and generate leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage product categories and optimize product assortment
- Develop and implement business development and sales strategies
- Analyze category performance and market trends
- Engage with merchants to drive sales and growth
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive success
- Develop strategic relationships with merchants and partners
- Ensure operational excellence and resolve technical issues promptly
Requirements:
- Strong product and category management knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- HND/BSc in any field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
