Vacancy: Credit Officer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Reports To: Head, Business development
Employment: Full-Time
Job Summary
To build profitable sales of the company’s products and services to new and existing customers, achieving the revenue target set by the Head, Business Development.
Job Responsibilities
· Build a rich pipeline of customers and ensure month-on-month growth of customer acquisitions, revenue and retention.
· Preparing presentations, proposals and sales contracts to range of prospective clients.
· Obtaining deposits and balance of payments from clients
· Achieve customer acquisition, revenue, ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) and retention target
· Acquisition of subscribers from corporate, public, SME organizations within allocated sector/regions.
· Promote our customer value propositions to the target customers through effective engagements and ensuring product availability within the consumer reach and gaining market share from the competition.
· Expedite resolution of all customer complaints to maximize satisfaction and manage monthly churn at 2%
· Engage customers leads through cold calls, digital marketing, email marketing and prospective visitations.
· Timely rendition of weekly and monthly report of sales performance to the supervisor.
Key Performance Key Result Area (KPIs-Outcomes) and Corresponding Metrics/Measures
KPI: Build a rich pipeline of customers
Corresponding Metrics: Minimum of 20 new potential leads per week
KPI: Sales Targets (Deposits & Loans Incremental Revenue Generation)
Corresponding Metrics: Minimum performance record of 85% Revenue growth based on agreed targets per week must be achieved.
KPI: Quality Customer Acquisition
Corresponding Metrics: 40% ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) customer acquisitions based on agreed targets
KPI: Customer Retention
Corresponding Metrics: 2% churn (i.e Attritional pipeline)
KPI: Prompt submission of weekly and monthly report on sales performance to Supervisor lead & management
Corresponding Metrics: Last working day of every week and month
KPI: Speedy conversion of potential request on loans and deposits
Corresponding Metrics: 75% of approved weekly prospects must be achieved
Education and Experience
· Minimum of 3 years work experience in trade marketing, consumer marketing and product development in the financial sector
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fields
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Good analytic, report writing and problem-solving skills
· Good understanding of business process
