Job Description
- We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. This role is to drive the organization's data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets.
- As a key member of our team, the incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data solutions, and implement strategies for effective data management.
- From constructing data pipelines to generating actionable insights, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the organization's data infrastructure.
- The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytical skills, programming proficiency, and a strategic mindset to contribute to the optimization of processes and support informed business strategies.
- Develop and implement robust data collection processes, ensuring accuracy through regular validation checks
- Design and maintain databases to store and retrieve data efficiently. Optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
- Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyze large datasets. Interpret trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights for decision-making
- Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to transform raw data into usable formats. Streamline and automate data workflows for efficiency.
- Create visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools like Google Looker Studio, Zoho Analytics, Power BI, and other data visualization platforms. Communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with teams from various departments to understand their data needs. Collaborate on projects and provide data-driven insights to support business goals.
- Monitor data systems for performance and efficiency. Identify opportunities for optimization and implement improvements to enhance overall data processing.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and best practices. Share knowledge within the team and contribute to the development of a robust data knowledge base.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Post Graduate Degree (MBA, M.Sc., etc.) an added advantage
- Certifications will be an added advantage
- Experience in extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data to generate actionable insights. Proficient in creating reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Knowledgeable in database optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, ensuring efficient data transformation and integration across systems.
- Proficient in creating compelling visualizations using tools such as Google Looker Studio, Zoho Analytics, Power BI, and other data visualization platforms. Ability to communicate complex findings through visual representation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams from various departments, understanding their data needs, and providing valuable insights.
- Managed and prioritized multiple data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business objectives. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high- quality results within deadlines.
N500,000 / Month.
