Job Title: Dev Ops Engineer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary: N350,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join our team. The Dev Ops Engineer will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, and ensure that the development, testing, and deployment of software applications are done in a seamless and efficient manner. Also responsible for automating software delivery, managing infrastructure, monitoring performance, and ensuring the overall reliability and security of the software system. Their goal is to enable faster, more frequent and more reliable releases of software products, while maintaining the highest level of quality and security.

Their goal is to enable faster, more frequent and more reliable releases of software products, while maintaining the highest level of quality and security.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Automated deployment and configuration management systems for network devices and servers
- Infrastructure as code templates and scripts
- Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for software applications and network services
- Automated testing, including functional, integration, and performance testing
- Monitoring and alerting systems for network and server infrastructure, as well as software applications and services
- Incident management processes and procedures
- Documentation on network and server configurations, application architecture, and deployment processes
- Collaborative culture and processes between network, system, and software engineers
- Network uptime and availability
- Mean time to resolve incidents
- Mean time between failures
- Speed and frequency of deployments
- Deployment success rate
- Automated test coverage and pass rate
- Infrastructure cost optimization
- Mean time to recovery (MTTR) from incidents or outages
- Bachelor's degree in computer or Electronics Engineering, Communications or related field. (2.2/ Upper Credit Minimum)
- Strong knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and tools, as well as IT operations and infrastructure management
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with networking and network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of database technologies such as My SQL, Postgre SQL, or Oracle
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and ELK
- Knowledge of security and compliance best practices and tools
- Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development processes
Pay: ₦350,000.00 per month
