Job Description
As a Dispatcher Officer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating delivery operations and ensuring that our customers receive their packages on time. You will be responsible for managing daily schedules, tracking deliveries, and communicating effectively with our riders and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming delivery requests and schedule pickups and drop-offs.
- Assign delivery tasks to riders based on location and availability.
- Monitor real-time delivery progress and address any issues that arise during transit.
- ⁠Maintain communication with riders to provide updates and resolve any operational challenges.
- Record and report on delivery performance metrics, including delivery times and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to optimize delivery routes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Logistics relevant experience in logistics or dispatching is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using technology and software for dispatching and tracking (e.g., GPS, logistics management software).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with Lagos, Ogun State and its neighborhoods is preferred.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
Working Hours:
