Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical/Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment at Codelabprojects Nigeria limited. This role ensures that electrical systems are running safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
Job Location: Abuja (Applicants should be resident in Lugbe, Airport Road or its Environs)
Salary: N160,000/month
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Be able to fix and repair electronics, such as phones, laptops, tablets...etc.
- Can maintain our power generators. Keep generator, lighting, and electrical systems in working order.
- Diagnose problems and repair/replace defective parts.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues, including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and industrial controls.
- Operate a variety of standard power tools, equipment and trenchers in electrical installations, maintenance and repair activities on a regular basis.
- Maintains records and logs as needed. Document maintenance and repair activities, ensuring accurate logs and reports.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards, local and national electrical codes.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and work efficiently to resolve issues.
- Make periodic inspection for new electrical services
- Stay updated on the latest industry best practices and electrical technologies.
- Perform other various tasks as instructed by management
- BSC or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering /Maintenance or any related field; a technical degree or certification in electrical maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical or maintenance work in an industrial, commercial, or residential setting.
- Must be a skilled driver with a valid driver’s license
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Pay: From ₦160,000.00 per month
