Electronic Document Management (EDM) Developer

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
The EDM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective electronic document management solutions that enhance workflow efficiency and improve data accessibility across the organization. This role focuses on creating custom workflows, user interfaces, and integrations with other enterprise systems to streamline document approval, notification, and routing processes. The EDM Developer will also optimize system performance, generate insightful reports, and develop standardized forms and templates, ensuring that the organization can effectively manage its documents in a digital environment.

This role focuses on creating custom workflows, user interfaces, and integrations with other enterprise systems to streamline document approval, notification, and routing processes. The EDM Developer will also optimize system performance, generate insightful reports, and develop standardized forms and templates, ensuring that the organization can effectively manage its documents in a digital environment.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create custom workflows: Automate document approval, notification, and routing processes
- Develop custom user interfaces: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for end users Integrate Laserfiche with other systems: Connect EDM software to other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) to improve data sharing and process efficiency.
- Optimize performance: Improve the speed and efficiency of the EDM system
- Develop custom reports: Create detailed reports to monitor system usage and process effectiveness Create forms and templates: Replace word documents with standard templates where users can input only specific information
- Perform any other functions requested by management.
- University degree or Diploma in Computer Technology or a relevant field.
- The ideal candidate should be between 30 – 35 years and must have a proven track record of EDM Project Implementation and Mentoring.
- Ideal Candidate must be experienced with Laserfiche, Share Point and Power Automate and have experience working in a construction industry.
