Job Description
- A Support Technician, or pump team supervisor also known as a Technical Support Specialist, provides assistance and resolution to customers or internal teams with technical issues or problems.
- Their primary goal is to ensure timely and effective support, ensuring minimal disruption to operations or services working with the team leads.
- Installation and maintenance of retail filling station equipment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, using diagnostic techniques and tools.
- Respond to customer inquiries, providing clear explanations and solutions.
- Resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior technicians or experts.
- Maintain accurate records of issues, solutions, and customer interactions.
- Contribute to and update the knowledge base, sharing expertise with the team.
- Work with internal teams, such as development, sales, or marketing, to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in training and development to stay up-to-date with new technologies and products.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent future technical issues.
- Timely and appropriate reporting of these activities to the supervisor
- Inter-phasing with the team leads and the head of unit.
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Must have excellent communication skill
- High cognitive & organizational skills.
- Problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Good knowledge of related Health and Safety Standards.
