A top Prop Tech brand is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financing and Accounting Manager to lead its financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, preferably within the Prop Tech industry, with proven experience in managing financial planning, reporting, and compliance.


As the Financing and Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth.


Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial planning strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies in all financial reporting.

• Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring all expenditures are within budgetary constraints.

• Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its operational and financial obligations.

• Implement strategies to optimize working capital and improve cash flow efficiency.

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reconciliation of accounts.

• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.

• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.

• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

• Lead, manage, and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. A relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, ICAN) is a plus.

• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the Prop Tech, Real Estate, or technology industry.

• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and compliance.

• Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
