Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Grant and Proposal Writer to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and writing compelling grant proposals, project bids, and other business development documents. This role requires strong research, writing, and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, winning proposals.


Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify funding opportunities from various sources including government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations.
• Develop and write detailed and persuasive grant proposals, project bids, and other business development documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
• Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with funding requirements.
• Maintain a database of previous proposals and ensure timely submission of new proposals.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and funding landscapes to proactively identify new opportunities.
• Manage the entire proposal development process, from concept to submission, ensuring adherence to deadlines and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successful grant applications and proposals.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
