INDUSTRY:LIGHTINING AND EVENT PRODUCTION
LOCATION: LEKKI
ROLE TITLE: HEAD, MEDIA
We are a leading lighting design and equipment rental company based in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. We provide lighting and solutions for events, concerts, festivals, and corporate functions across Nigeria and West Africa.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet with CEO, COO and Finance manager to discuss upcoming events
Review briefs provided by clients to understand events in detail.
Visiting event locations and design production plan for event.
Meet with the media team to discuss the plan for events including areas of focus, camera angles, equipment or personnel, scripts etc.
Attend event and coordinating photographer and videographer to capture footage, conduct interviews.
Review footage and guiding post production with video editors
Supervise creation of copy, preparation of content for platforms and sharing with management team for review
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-A bachelor's degree in media, communication, marketing or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in media management, content creation or a similar role - Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills - Verifiable experience managing a successful youtube channel is a plus - A strong portfolio of previous work that demonstrates your creativity and expertise - A passion for music, events and the entertainment industry - Proficiency in using various tools and software for media production and editing - Knowledge of SEO, analytics and social media best practices - A keen eye for content production and storytelling
