Job Overview
Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Inventory Pharmacist to join their team. The successful candidate will manage medication procurement, input prices into the Point of Sale (POS) system, and oversee inventory management to ensure an efficient and accurate supply of medications.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement of Medications:
Research and source medications from reliable suppliers.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of medications.
Ensure all procured medications meet quality and regulatory standards.
Price Imputation on POS System:
Accurately enter medication prices into the POS system.
Regularly update pricing information to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Inventory Management:
Organize and maintain the medication inventory.
Monitor inventory levels, anticipate demand, and prevent shortages.
Conduct regular stock checks and manage expiration dates to reduce wastage.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all regulations related to medication procurement and inventory management.
Maintain accurate transaction and inventory records for compliance audits.
Collaboration:
Work with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication supply and distribution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
Active pharmacist license in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Proven experience in pharmaceutical procurement and inventory management.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.
Proficiency in using POS systems and inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
