Talent Flow Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Legal Associate. The candidate will handle various legal tasks, including liaising with regulatory agencies, drafting legal documents, and providing client counsel. The role is hybrid with occasional in-person meetings, government office visits, and client interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
Experience:
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Research & Advisory: Provide legal advice on corporate and immigration matters in Nigeria and the U.S.
- Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the contact for Nigerian regulatory bodies like CAC, SEC, and CBN; ensure compliance and assist in filings.
- Document Drafting & Review: Draft and review contracts, petitions, and legal opinions with precision.
- Client Representation & Advocacy: Represent clients in legal proceedings, regulatory meetings, and negotiations.
- Cross-Jurisdictional Work: Stay informed on U.S. immigration laws and apply knowledge to local cases.
- Client Interaction: Conduct interviews to understand client needs and maintain strong relationships.
- LL.B degree, Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
- 2-3 years of in-house counsel experience; litigation experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of corporate and immigration law, with U.S. law knowledge.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, and legal research skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Hybrid work environment with flexibility in locations.
- MUST be located in Lagos, Nigeria.
Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
Experience:
- In-house counsel: 2 years (Required)
- LLB certificate and have been called to the Nigerian Bar? (Required)
