Job Title: Personal Assistant Intern (Social Media Background)
Location: Abijo GRA, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
Job Type: Internship (30 hours/week, 5 days/week)
Duration: 6 months
About Us:
Ankara World is a leading African fashion brand seeking a highly motivated and innovative Personal Assistant Intern to support our founder in running the business.
Job Summary:
We're looking for a detail-oriented, social media-savvy individual to assist our founder in managing day-to-day operations, creating engaging content, and developing innovative strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the founder in managing daily tasks and schedules
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness
- Create engaging content (posts, stories, reels) across platforms
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics
- Provide customer service support
- Assist in email management and communication
- Conduct market research and provide insights
- Participate in brainstorming sessions
- Assist in taking high-quality product pictures for social media and website
- Update website content and product listings
Requirements:
- Social media management background (experience or education)
- Living on the island (mandatory)
- Availability: 5 days/week (3 office days, 2 work-from-home days)
- 30 hours/week commitment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Innovative, creative, and problem-solver
- Willingness to learn and improve skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant internship or work experience in social media management
- Knowledge of African fashion industry (desirable)
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Lightroom)
- Basic understanding of email marketing tools
Added Advantage:
- Photography skills (ability to take high-quality pictures)
- Ownership of a smartphone with good camera quality
- Ownership of a laptop
