We are looking for a qualified Petrophysicist to join our team in the Lagos, Nigeria office by Oct 2024.
The successful candidate will work with our field development teams. The candidate must be able to deliver results working alone and within a team.
Primary responsibilities:
· Determine formation evaluation needs; prepare data acquisition program.
· Perform parameter analysis, modeling, and resistivities
· Perform enhancement of log and core data quality (borehole corrections, log modeling etc) as appropriate.
· Carry out formation evaluation (log/pressure analysis, SWS/Core data) and generate reservoir properties – porosity saturation/permeability profiles due diligence, provide insight, and support oil & gas reserve assessments
· Work with other professionals to produce, reserve appraisals, assess third-party appraisals, and determine methods to reconcile variances and generate field development plan.
· Provide insights into critical subsurface risks and recommend mitigation methods
Other requirements:
a. Education: Higher National Diploma, BSc/BA, Master’s or Ph D Degree
b. Experience: 5 to 8 years of practical Petrophysicist and field development studies
c. Qualities: Presentation skill and ability to work with minimal supervision.
