Our client is a conglomerate company in Nigeria and other parts of Africa, established over 40 years ago with ties in Asia and the Middle East. They are into FMCG products including Tyres, Food and Beverages, Plastic, and Paper. They need a PROCUREMENT OFFICER for their plastic manufacturing arm.
LOCATION: Lagos.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
Sourcing and vendor management
Track, Record Orders & Market survey
Prepare reports and updates as at when required.
Review the quality of purchased products.
Perform inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
Estimate and establish budgets for purchases.
Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in business management, or related field.
Proven experience in procurement or a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to visit the market.
Proficiency in detail and organizational skills.
