The National Assembly, recognizing the severity of the situation, established a Standing Committee on Nutrition and Food Security to coordinate efforts and enhance legislative oversight in addressing these critical issues. The Committee aims to strengthen existing policies, advocate for new legislation, and ensure effective implementation of nutrition and food security programs across various government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs).
