Your duties
Your duties
Set up lab and production vessel with all necessary equipment
Ensure the lab is maintained by staff to carry out their duties
Source raw materials for formulation samples and bulk production processing
Carry out physical, chemical, microbiological analysis of raw materials and finished products when required.
Raw material release on SAGE on receipt of satisfactory Ceriticate of Analysis
Ensure products meet all CPSR and NAFDAC requirements
Responsible for release of all products that has passed Quality Control (QC) testing.
Ensure routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, and the control and maintenance of all laboratory’s consumables, raw materials, standard solutions and retained samples
Maintain accurate, up to date, secure records of all work carried out in the lab, delivered orders
Find suitable individuals to participate in company focus groups and trials in return for non monetary incentives
Write/review Quality and Safety documentation including SOP's, risk assessments and stability reports as applicable
Drive continuous improvement within the QC environment, including
The lab and order/delivery process
Keep an updated list of individuals the company can use to test new products on in return for non monetary incentives
Create useful insights gathered from data given from focus groups to advance the company
Organise and gather feedback from suitable participants in the focus group to help lab and marketing team
Maintain adequate stock of all laboratory consumables.
Ensure lab is clean and tidy at all times, with support from staff.
Support staff with packaging and delivering orders.
Create and share lab production targets (with timelines) based on requirements
Conduct quality control on ingredients used in making lab based formulations for the company
Perform testing of bulk products and ensure it meets regulatory board guidelines as well as company SLA
Perform colour and PH corrections if need be
Submit Micro samples to external test house, log results when received.
Testing of NPD standards and creation of Quality control test records
Keep all company files on record digitally, along with hard copies.
Manage bulk product release on SAGE.
Find requirements and steps needed to have our products certified “dermalogically tested” in the UK
Research and Submit details to have company products registered on the “think dirty” app
Find and register company for relevant events in Lagos, Nigeria and UK (annual calendar)
Conduct weekly staff meetings with staff as and when necessary for the company to ensure they are working towards the same goals and timelines
Conduct quarterly meetings with staff to ensure they are adding value to the business and satisfied with their job
Team development, including maintaining competence and undertaking on-going continuous personal development of themselves and the team to ensure maintenance of current knowledge and best practice
Keep up to date with new analytical methods and where prossible advise staff in the lab on any complex issues they face
Research relevant software, resources, equipment to help make processes and systems more efficient for staff
Other duties as required by the Quality department or Company
Skills
-experience with NAFDAC
-expert in Microsoft word , Google drive and search
-degree or equivalent in Chemistry -people management experience
thorough knowledge of -pharmaceutical good manufacturing practice
-comprehensive understanding of analytical chemistry as well as organic/inorganic chemistry.

Pay: ₦1.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
