RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
2. Effective cash management including timely application / invoicing / payment / receipts and careful administration of subcontract accounts.
3. Prepare budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
4. Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
5. Consistent review of cost, risk and vendor partnership improvement plans.
6. Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
7. Measure and value the work done on site and prepare reports on this
8. Ensure payment is made to subcontractors according to contract terms
9. Liaise with the client and other construction professionals
10. Prepare costing reports.

1. Great communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all types of people.
2. Excellent negotiation skills.
3. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
4. Maintains a positive, open ‘can do attitude’ to staff, team and Client
REQUIREMENTS
1. Strong numerical skills.
2. Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office applications, especially MS Excel.
3. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Survey or Civil Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
4. Previous experience within the Interior Design industry is preferred.
