Easy Spend is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team as a Co-Founder. Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems for a seamless, secure, and scalable fintech platform.

• Design APIs and integrate third-party services, including payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave) and cryptocurrency platforms.

• Manage database architecture, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent fraud.

• Lead technical decision-making and drive the long-term technology vision of the company.

• Collaborate closely with the co-founders and product teams to align technical goals with business objectives.

• Mentor and build a high-performing development team as the company grows.

Qualifications
Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with expertise in PHP (Laravel or similar frameworks).

• Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and database management (My SQL/Postgre SQL).

• Experience integrating payment gateways and handling financial data securely.

• Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption and authentication.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with blockchain technology or cryptocurrency integrations.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and Dev Ops practices.

• Knowledge of fintech regulations in Nigeria and globally.
