Salary Range: ₦500,000 - ₦1,200,000 /Month (Depending on Experience)
Position Overview:
Ultisec Software Solutions is looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Developer with 8+ years of experience in Node.js and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing high-performance, secure backend systems and managing cloud infrastructure to support a range of scalable applications. This role emphasizes backend development, cloud infrastructure, and Dev Ops, focusing on performance optimization, security, and reliability.

Position Overview:
Ultisec Software Solutions is looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Developer with 8+ years of experience in Node.js and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing high-performance, secure backend systems and managing cloud infrastructure to support a range of scalable applications. This role emphasizes backend development, cloud infrastructure, and Dev Ops, focusing on performance optimization, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities:Backend Development:
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems and services using Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, test, and deploy new backend features.
- Ensure backend systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Develop APIs and microservices for seamless integration with frontend and mobile applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain code quality.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient and automated deployment processes.
- Monitor application performance, optimize infrastructure, and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible for consistency and scalability.
- Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to quickly address incidents.
- Drive continuous improvements in deployment, security, and infrastructure processes.
- 8+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js.
- Proven experience in building and managing scalable backend systems and microservices.
- 5+ years of hands-on Dev Ops experience, with expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, API security, and integration best practices.
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for managing microservices.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and team collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
