Location: Lagos, Nigeria Only
Full time contract: Monday to Saturday (Saturday might not be necessary if tasks can be completed by Friday)

About the role
We are seeking a creative and versatile individual based in Lagos, Nigeria to join our United Kingdom (UK) based team as a Social Media Content Creator Cum Video Editor. With a passion to see justice served, you will be responsible for developing engaging visual content for our social media channels, editing short and long-form videos, managing our online presence and devising communications and media strategy to take our work to the next level.


Key responsibilities:
Graphic Design: Create eye-catching graphics and images for social media posts, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
Video Editing: Edit short-form videos (Reels, Tik Toks, Podcast etc.) and longer-form videos for You Tube, Facebook, and Instagram.
Social Media Management & Strategy:

• Create compelling captions for social media posts.

• Schedule and publish content across various platforms (Facebook, Podcast, Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, X).

• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages.

• Track and analyse social media performance metrics.

• Manage and connect all our social media platforms to speak the language of justice.

• Devise and review strategy to generate more recognition and take our platforms global.

• Devise a strategy that gives us a global presence on Youtube,

Other:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.

• Collaborate with team members on content strategy and campaigns.

• Upload content onto the website.

• Any other business (AOB) required for the role.

About you:

• Must be based in Lagos Nigeria (mandatory).

• Must be creative and proficient with social media (mandatory).

• Passionate about seeing justice served (desired).

• Must have a laptop or desktop (mandatory).

• Only apply if experienced - Hit the ground running from day one (mandatory).

• Must successfully complete the given assignment, demonstrating proficiency in the position's required skills (mandatory).

• 6 months probationary period (mandatory).

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 2 years experience in both social media content creation, strategy and video editing.

• Degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, PR, or relevant.

Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• A creative thinker who has an eye for what works.

• A passion to see justice served.

• Social media management and strategy skills.

• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva).

• Strong video editing skills (e.g., Cap cut).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong time-management and organisational skills.

• Strong familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, X).

Salary: N80,000 - N83,000 per month (Depending on experience).
