About Us:
London Academy Business School, in collaboration with the University of Sunderland, is committed to delivering exceptional education and professional development. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Student Recruitment and Events Coordinator to join our team in Abuja. This role is instrumental in driving our recruitment initiatives and organizing impactful events that support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Recruitment:
  • Design and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract prospective students from Nigeria and neighboring regions.
  • Conduct personalized counseling sessions with prospective students, offering guidance on course options, application procedures, and career prospects.
  • Generate and nurture leads through various channels, including social media, school visits, and community engagement.
2. Event Organization:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment events, open days, and informational webinars that highlight our programs.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to ensure events align with our curriculum and institutional objectives.
  • Manage all logistics, including venue selection, catering, marketing materials, and attendee registration, ensuring seamless event execution.
3. Webinar Hosting:
  • Host engaging and informative webinars that showcase the unique benefits of studying at London Academy Business School and the University of Sunderland.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate program highlights and university strengths.
  • Lead Q&A sessions, addressing prospective students' questions and concerns with clarity and insight.
4. Lead Generation and Conversion:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective students, tracking engagement and follow-up actions.
  • Implement effective follow-up strategies to convert leads into enrolled students, utilizing strong communication and persuasion techniques.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and suggest areas for improvement.
5. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with academic and administrative teams to ensure a cohesive and aligned recruitment strategy.
  • Provide insights and feedback from prospective students to inform program development and marketing strategies.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to the overall success of the recruitment department.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in student recruitment, counseling, event organization, and lead generation, particularly within the education sector.
  • Familiarity with both UK and Nigerian education systems and their respective processes.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and CRM tools is a strong advantage.
