Your role and responsibilities
We are searching for a Local Application Manager/ License & Insurance Manager and Local IS information manager for ABB Norway. Do you have experience from managing IS licensees? Would you like new challenges within a large and exciting company, please continue to read! You can on a daily basis challenge yourself. You will work on some of the most advanced application and technical capabilities facing our business today. The local IS information process is closely connected to our applications managed globally and locally. All local IS information internally is based om the understanding of our local way of working and the importance of customize IS information to the Scandinavian way of work, with the high productivity and efficiency focus needed in Norway. Be determined to realize your full potential in a truly global company. For our IS department we look for a person with ability to transfer strategic directions and initiatives into deliverables. With your interest to understand the business processes you will support/encourage productivity within our business lines. Many of our licenses like Microsoft platform 365. Sales Force, and a lot of other global applications/platforms are handled globally and you will get a lot of support as well as a broad competence base from a strong license and compliance community. Focus on application governance for cross-business aspects such as sales, project execution, production, service, research and development as well as training solutions, sourcing and communication. Tasks: Manage the Norway IS information process closely connected to global IS publications and with localized publication in Norwegian, as well as local publication from IS Management in Norway. • Drive and improve the business competitiveness by professional use of demanded applications • Managing governance, security and integrity as well as legal control, as well as consequence management, access control structures and audits etc. Perform License review regularly, in alignment with Norwegian regulatory and according to global guidelines. • Initiate, collaborate and response to business demands from small applications/improvements to improvement changes and application projects • Orchestrate change management in close collaboration with business units • Manage local vendors and work closely with global delivery center. Supervision of and collaboration with the supply management within our business lines to manage the application demand in an efficient and controlled way. • Manage expert user community within strategic local applications together with application ownersQualifications for the role
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering or business or related field
- Experience/interest in managing technology, applications and people
- Experience in managing publications and analyze target groups towards chose of media will be important
- Interest for governance, structure and innovation
- Some experience in Change Management
- Knowledge of license management will be an advantage.
- Some contract and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and inpatient
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
- Creative and Analytical
