Job Description
Do you want to be part of an international team with a focus on creating and developing customer relationships?
As our new District Sales Manager (country sales manager), you report directly to our District Manager (country manager). You will form the engine room in our Norwegian commercial efforts with a focus on building awareness of Expeditors in Norway and thus increasing our market shares through Expeditors' sales program.
Together with your colleagues in the operation, our District Manager and our commercial manager for the Nordics, you will help set new standards for how we land new customers and secure new business from our existing customers.

Even though we work independently, we always have a lifeline back to the team and our sales approach is "the team selling process" where we plan together how a customer should be approached. You will have a very large contact surface internally with sales and account management teams, especially in the Nordics and Northern Europe, and you will over time create your own network within Expeditors.
Your base is our office in Jessheim, where we look forward to seeing you when you are not out with customers - either physically or virtually.

Responsibilities

- Make contact with and build relationships with potential and existing customers
- Ensure new sales and additional sales according to agreed KPIs, including participating in developing value-creating solutions that meet the customer's logistics needs
- Maintain a broad knowledge of customers, competitors and market trends
- Document and maintain customer data in our CRM
- Facilitate relationships and communication between the customers, our department and other Expeditors colleagues around the world
- Prepare and maintain the sales team's budget
- Facilitate weekly sales meetings
- Ensure that the sales team meets KPIs
- Create and implement a strong vision and strategy for sales and marketing in Norway
- Contribute to the development of new product and service initiatives in close collaboration with product managers

- Is goal-oriented and has a commercial focus
- Is skilled at creating relationships and communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Is a strong communicator, both orally and in writing
- Works structured and organized
- Is reliable, extroverted, confident, enthusiastic and persuasive – and with a good deal of impatience
- Works independently as well as part of a team
- Is fluent in spoken and written Norwegian and English
- Has own car and valid driver's license
