About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager to lead a full scrum team on-site in Oslo, Norway, utilizing the Joint Application Development (JAD) methodology. In this dynamic role, you will oversee a technical integration agile scrum team composed of business analysts, developers, and QAs, ensuring the seamless planning and delivery of high-performance integration solutions. You will collaborate closely with the customer’s integration development team to gather requirements, define technical solutions, draft detailed designs, manage integration programs, and take full responsibility for delivering top-notch integration solutions.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer integration needs and solutions.
- Lead Sapiens resources and contribute to the Scrum of Scrums, representing your team effectively.
- Partner with customers to design and implement stable, efficient integration solutions, managing the SDLC end-to-end from development to production.
- Gather requirements and create high-level solution documents.
- Manage the integration backlog, aligning with the project delivery program.
- Mentor and support a full scrum team in collaboration with the customer’s team.
- Handle dependencies, mitigate risks, and deliver efficient solutions.
- Ensure high-quality integration in cloud environments (customer’s cloud).
- Drive workflow improvements, providing tools and processes to enable continuous value delivery in an Agile environment.
- Communicate project status and key updates to stakeholders.
- The position is based in Oslo, with primary office work and flexibility for remote work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6+ years as a Technical Systems Architect/Analyst with expertise in:
- Integration design architecture
- User authentication and authorization across multiple systems, with a focus on security by design
- Software development and data engineering
- Proficiency in debugging and logging tools
- Leadership: Proven experience leading a full scrum team (business analysts, developers, QA).
- Technical Skills:
- Cloud-based systems (Azure), both hands-on and in design
- Web services architecture (API), particularly SOAP and REST (MUST)
- ETL interfaces (preferably Talend) (MUST)
- High proficiency in SQL (MUST)
- Strong understanding of GIT source control
- Languages: Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal (MUST).
- Experience with JAD methodology
- Background in Java development
- Familiarity with the Norwegian life insurance industry and regulations
- Experience with message brokers (Apache Kafka/ASB)
