Main responsibility and tasks

• Operate and troubleshoot network topologies

• Monitor network performance and capacity utilization, report status periodically, and initiate projects to address capacity expansion as required

• Perform hands on technical support and provide after hours on-call support as needed

• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

• Participate in projects as required

• Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced network personnel

• Develop and maintain documentation for configuration guidelines and templates

• Drive and complete technical network deliverables on assigned projects

• Perform general operational duties including coordination of planned work in the network

• SLA Uptime Calculations and reporting

• Analyzing event / incidents & Problem Solving

• Contribute to a positive work environment in the team / department

• Perform other technical tasks within his/her area of expertise

Qualification requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science/telecom or 10 years of relevant work experience

Security requirements

• To be a current candidate for the position, you must be Security Cleared (or eligible for Security clearance in Norway) and authorised according to Norwegian Security Act. Read more about security clearance at https://www.nsm.no/.
