About the role
As our Sales Manager, you will be working directly with our customers in Norway and our international customers within the maritime and offshore industry to maintain and grow our market share.
Our Sales Managers (SMs) for the Maritime and Offshore segment are responsible for planning and executing marketing and sales strategies for this industry. Sales managers are supported by our marketing team, bidding team, and technical team to ensure Enwa is selected as the supplier for the right sales and projects.
You will be responsible for frontline sale to technically focused customers, including Owners/Operators, Management companies, Design Companies, Yards and other EPCI’s
The role also includes the coordination of sales activities in the territory including principals’ activities. You will be responsible for revenue versus budget within the specified segment and territory, including the marketing budget within the segment/territory.
Employment will be in close proximity to one of the Maritime and Offshore hubs in Norway; however, some travelling must be considered.
Core responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be planning and executing marketing and sales strategies for the maritime and offshore segment. You will be responsible for frontline sale to technically focused customers, including Owners/Operators, Management companies, Design Companies, Yards and other EPCI’s.
The Sales Manager for Maritime and Offshore will have the following responsibilities:
  • Participate in strategy work and budget planning for the region.
  • Develop activity plans including advertising, exhibitions, seminars, customer visits and other sales-promoting activities for the territory and market segment.
  • Plan activities and report progress in accordance with the reporting schedule
  • Gain and maintain extensive knowledge about the designated territory and market segment to maximize effectiveness of activities.
  • Understand requirements (technical, commercial and social) and underlying reasoning for contract awards in the territory and communicate this into the Sales organization to increase chances of success.
  • Work as an integrated resource in the market and sales team to ensure sharing of best practices, good intelligence and multiple capture points for individual projects and/or customers.
  • Lead and organize events (customer visits, conferences, exhibitions, seminars etc.) in the territory.
  • Plan and expedite sales and marketing visits involving our principals as well as other sales managers if required.
  • Participate in common sales activities such as sales meetings, sales conferences, Agent/Distributor seminars and others as applicable
The Sales Manager reports to the Maritime & Offshore Sales Director.

Our Sales Managers are crucial to our operations and to succeed we expect you to have qualifications as follows:
  • Relevant education
  • Experience as a Sales Manager within the maritime and offshore segment
  • Able to understand and manage both technical and financial risk
  • Great communication skills in English, written and verbal, as well as one of the Scandinavian languages.
