Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for the next Technical Account Manager for Tjeldbergodden. The Technical Account Manager is responsible for maintaining customer relationship and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing technical support before, during and after delivery. Ensuring the technical development of the system, assisting sales, projects, and client in the choice of technical solutions, and evolution strategy for the complete system. The Technical Account Manager is responsible for following the technical development of the system, assisting sales, projects, and client in the choice of technical solutions, and evolution strategy for the complete system. Main Tasks: • Overall technical responsibility on Tjeldbergodden • Serve as the lead point of contact for all technical issues, alongside Service Desk • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationship • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives • Communicate client technical needs and demands to ABB • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stake-holders • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing client • Assist in finding resources for projects and modifications • Responsible for maintaining the Tjeldbergodden test system located at the ABB premises in Bergen. Sales: • Member of Account Team according to Automation Brownfield Sales matrix • Provide sales with technical input, with focus on assuring that choices are optimal for the system, and according to current evolution strategies • Performing technical QA in sales within service, operation, and modifications • Responsible for regular site meetings Operation: • Maintain overview and knowledge of the plant's operations technology • Contribute to maintain plant Integrity, uptime and provide technology specific input for optimal life cycle planning of the plant assets • Technical support and Quality assurance in projects • Helping to resolve problems and follow up Service Desk Incidents and Field Alerts • Site responsible for Serv IS and CMDB (Install base database) • Assist customer in planning of system patches and other Cyber Security operations • Responsible for Tjeldbergodden simulator and ensuring that the simulator is up to dateQualifications for the role
- Master/Bachelor/Technician in Automation or relevant discipline
- Good knowledge of automation with background from the oil and gas industry
- Good knowledge of ABB’s control system 800x A and Harmony
- Good knowledge of site standards and regulations
- Good writing and verbally fluency in Norwegian and English
- Independent, sociable and cooperative
- Enjoy working in team, and at times in a hectic environment
- Ability to work in a structured and targeted way with focus to reach good results
- Ability and a desire for professional development
