We are looking for Engineers and Solutions Architects to join our maritime engineering team !

Norway, Eik – Full time – Apply before 11.09.24 The position is part of the Maritime Engineering team, consisting of 20 people. The team's focus is on designing, building, and operating complex communication and IT solutions in the maritime market. The main operations center is Eik Teleport, work locations in Stavanger, Lysaker or Hovsherad (Outside Moi)

As part of the team, you will be involved in the following tasks:

Work Tasks

• Design technical network and IT solutions in the Maritime Market.
• Build, test, deploy, and operate complex solutions.
• Provide expert consulting to customers.
• Oversee solutions and infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.
• Manage technical projects and technical requirements.
• Develop lab environments and conduct thorough system and product testing.
• Create and maintain documentation for all solutions and products.
• Conduct technical training sessions for internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (BSc) or Master's (MSc) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Alternative education or long, relevant hands-on experience will be considered. You will also need to have driver license.

Deeper experience in some of the following areas is required:

• IP Networking: Routing, switching, SD-WAN, etc.
• Security services and firewall platforms.
• Network Management solutions and tools (M&C)
• Virtualization and cloud technologies.
• Scripting, automation, databases, and web services.
• Voice, 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, and satellite technologies.
• Customer requirements
• System Design and technical documentation
