Welding Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Welding Coordinator for our project in Odda, Norway. The project starts as soon as possible and continues until the end of 2024. There might be a possibility for an extension and to work in our other projects.
The open position is within our Industry business unit, where we assist our clients in improving the operational reliability and maintenance efficiency of their production facilities. We execute demanding project deliveries for industrial projects. We develop digital solutions to enhance productivity, oversee the comprehensive maintenance and operational reliability of our clients' production facilities and provide resource and contracting services as well as subcontractor chain management services for domestic and international industrial projects.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for industrial pipe welding management on site in accordance with ISO 3834-2 and project welding requirements
Provide guidance and instructions to production and staff regarding welding related matters
Maintain qualification registry and oversee new certificate inspections
Handle inspections in production and document them (e.g. parameter monitoring)

Requirements:

Suitable educational background
IWS or IWE certificate
Experience in industrial pipe welding
Previous experience in welding quality management and related aspects (ISO 3834-2)
Skilled in documentation and practice implementation
VT certificate is considered a plus
Good IT skills
Fluent English language skills
