Piping Foreman

We are currently looking for a Piping Foremen for our industrial piping project in Odda, Norway. The project starts as soon as possible and continues until the end of 2024. There might be a possibility for an extension and to work in our other projects.
The open position is within our Industry business unit, where we assist our clients in improving the operational reliability and maintenance efficiency of their production facilities. We execute demanding project deliveries for industrial projects. We develop digital solutions to enhance productivity, oversee the comprehensive maintenance and operational reliability of our clients' production facilities and provide resource and contracting services as well as subcontractor chain management services for domestic and international industrial projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Lead a team of 8-12 pipe fitters and welders
Ensure that all piping is properly erected and installed and prepared for compliance with all applicable specifications and standards
Execution check of installation versus P&IDs and incorporation of changes
Work as a part of project management team
Ensuring that all assigned personnel are instructed in and comply with all the aspects of the HSE policy, site security, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and client requirements

Requirements:

Suitable educational background
Previous experience of working as a Piping Foreman in industrial projects
Good knowledge of piping works and equipment
Ability to read drawings
Safety orientated approach to work
Good organizational skills
Effective leadership and communication skills to direct and motivate team members
Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills in English
