Announcement for a Kindergarten (KG) Principal- Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

- Kindergarten (KG) Principal (female) whose tasks include supervision, evaluation and reforming the teaching and learning performance; application of developmental plans of the KG section; development of KG teachers, curricula and educational programmes in line with standard international practices. It is expected the KG Principal is able and ready to teach a KG class when needed. The evaluation of the KG Principal is result-oriented, wherein the level of children’s achievement of various intellectual, emotional and physical skills especially writing and reading is a key factor. Another factor is the retention of children to continue their educational journey in the school.
- 3. Job Conditions:
- Bachelor’s in education or similar, particularly in Early Education.
- Experience in teaching KG or Early Learning children of not less than 5 years.
- Full comprehension of Arabic and English.
- Full comprehension of Microsoft Office applications (or similar)
- Loving to work in a multicultural environment that respects Muslims and Christians.
- Experience in KG best known educational systems such as Montessori, Reggio Amelia, Waldorf, etc. is preferred.
- One year contract, renewable.
- • Housing at school expense: an independent room in a shared flat inclusive of utilities.
- • Medical insurance at school expense.
- • Working hours: 8 hours from 07:30am to 03:30pm.
- • Annual paid leave: 40 days.
- • Travel compensation: $260 per annum
- • Monthly salary starts at $1500 inclusive of all living and other personal expenses.
Pay: RO576.980 per month
