The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and a proven track record of developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and enhancing our service offerings, while working closely with various internal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. Responsibilities: - Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction sector through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to promote our services and enhance customer satisfaction. - Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. - Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting our unique value propositions and service offerings. - Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and project deliverables. - Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our market share. - Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. - Participate in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our business development strategies remain competitive. - Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our brand and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the construction industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. - Strong understanding of the construction market in Oman and the broader Middle East region. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans and drive results. - Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools to manage leads and track sales activities. - Self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus. - Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
