We are looking for a Coating Advisor to provide technical advice to our customers, by offering on-site support for paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer’s satisfaction.

This position will be based in Duqm, Oman, and will report to the Technical Service Manager (Performance Coatings).

• Provide clear instructions to clients and Jotun staff on paint application by working on-site with client representatives to ensure the coating specification meets customer expectations.
• Independently inspect assigned projects, following the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and working procedures to ensure product application meets specifications.
• Compile inspection data to write reports documenting that the specification inspection criteria have been met.
• Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met.
• Carry out inspections of specific projects assigned to you by your direct manager and work independently, efficiently and seek practical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with customers, applicators, supervisors and relevant Jotun colleagues

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• 2-4 years of work experience in related field.
• Excellent Written and verbal communication skills in English.
