Hiring a Procurement Specialist for one of our reputed clients in Oman.
Job Purpose:
The incumbent will manage procurement activities for animal farming (cows, sheep, goats, poultry, bee), dairy products processing (Cheese, Yogurt, Butter etc) and horticulture operations. They will focus on sourcing quality products/services and contribute to procurement objectives, ensuring maximum benefit to the farm's operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification – Bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, Animal Science, Supply Chain, or a related field;
Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement for animal farming, dairy processing, and/or horticulture, preferably in the Middle East.
2. Proficiency with ERP platforms and other procurement software.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in farming, dairy processing, and horticulture.
4. Demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills.
5. Self-starter with a process-driven mindset.
6. Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and take direction from senior management.
7. Team-oriented with a high level of motivation and professional integrity.
8. Proven written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to be a proactive member of a management team.
